Feature:
Flexible System Design:
The modular design of Motorola APCO-P25 system provides scalability in handling the needs of a small or large system. Motorola APCO-P25 system is capable of operating in channel configurations up to 28 channels per site and up to 24 remote radio sites with a maximum of 300 channels per zone. This flexible, modular system design means that it is readily expandable to fulfill future communications needs. Motorola APCO-P25 system also provides a method for adding mobile/portable radios without affecting the operation and privacy of units currently on the system.
Using Virtualization Technology:
Virtualization allows for these multiple applications, possibly running on multiple operating systems, to improve the utilization of the physical hardware. Each OS/application combination that was physical hardware now resides as a virtual machine on the virtual management server. This reduces overall system cost by reducing the number of physical servers required in order to meet the customer requirements
Core network based IP:
Routing and transmission in the system using IP for voice and system management as well as data traffic
Centralized System Management:
APCO-P25 trunking systems ease operation and management through the use of a network management user interface based on the Microsoft Windows® environment. The centralized system management helps keep the system healthy with current alerts, diagnostics and faults reported at a centralized location. APCO-P25 network management system provides functionality to remotely distribute/download software upgrades to products on the network. The familiarity of a standardized PC environment such as Windows® enables the customer to train their workforce more efficiently.
